Come enjoy the heart-touching tunes and insightful wit of singer-songwriter Cheryl Wheeler in a rare, intimate coffeehouse appearance. It may seem as if there are two Cheryl Wheelers. There is the poet-Cheryl, writer of some of the prettiest, most alluring and intelligent ballads on the modern folk scene. Then there is her “evil” twin, comic-Cheryl, a savagely funny social critic. The result is a delightful contrast between poet and comic. Her songs have been hits for Suzy Boggus (Aces) and Dan Seals (Addicted), and have been recorded by Bette Midler, Garth Brooks, Juice Newton and others.
